I Chose Silence

When all my efforts
turned into pile of hurts.
Then, I chose silence.
When no more wound’s layer left to peel,
Tears were not enough to heal.
Then, I chose silence.
When their actions and words
pierced through all my veins,
When vocab failed, to narate my pains.
Then, I chose silence.
When my pangs reached from abdomen to lips.
Heart cried to speak.
Words became lumps, in the throat instead.
Then, I chose silence.
When I couldn’t feel at all.
Or
When I was feeling everything all at once.
Then, I chose silence.
When I cried till my eyes were out.
Day, Night and Throughout.
When agony failed to subside,
Alas! all my tears are dried.
When my voice got tired,
After yelping endlessly.
